Salary Grade: $20 – $30/hr – dependent upon years of education and experience.
SUMMARY
Performs specialized tasks related to removal, treating, cleaning and disinfection of client sites. They perform projects as assigned by office or dispatch staff. Must be knowledgeable of meticulous cleaning techniques, WHIMIS, OSHA, respirator procedures, and specialized equipment used in completing assigned tasks (or be willing to learn the correct procedures). Performing general cleaning tasks, removal of trash, soiled linens, carpet flooring or furniture is also required. Must work in cooperation with supervisor, and interface with other staff in a friendly, professional manner; enlist cooperation from all colleagues, and ask questions when unsure.
BASIC QUALIFICATONS
- This position requires a high school or GED graduate
PREFERRED EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Valid First Aid / CPR
- Candidate must be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs on a routine basis
- Knowledgeable of WHIMIS and OH&S regulations
- Must be able to wear respirator and follow appropriate procedures
- Be a safety conscience individual
DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Removes & treats Bio-Hazards from all areas utilizing established Health and Safety Policy and other established and certified protocols
- Cleans assigned area according to established protocols and respirator procedures
- Uses special equipment, chemicals, PPE, and supplies appropriately and correctly
- Reports health, safety, and other maintenance needs to supervisor
Equipment Operation:
- Uses equipment safely, correctly and within the regulatory compliance standards set forth by Health and Safety Policy
- Follows specific cleaning protocols established by company policy
- Cleans and maintains equipment according to company policy
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This is an on-call/casual position.
- Must be able to attend out of town scenes
- Must be flexible to work weekdays, weekends, late nights.
- Police Clearance required and must be approved prior to employment. Please be prepared to provide required information.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Trauma Scene is seeking to fill our sales and marketing executive position with an enthusiastic, career minded, individual, with a strong work ethic and commitment. This position reports to Trauma Scenes President and has responsibility for the many facets of the sales and marketing effort including supporting sales goals, developing and extending various marketing programs, proposal presentations, social media and training clients.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working in sales or marketing team environment
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Above average desktop computer skills with experience in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Bachelor’s Degree and one-year experience in sales, marketing, and/or business development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, technical degree desirable, past industry related or equivalent experience. Ideal candidate must be confident in a technical environment that entails bio-hazard services.
- Public speaking, eg. toastmasters
Primary duties will include:
- Develop new business opportunities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans
- Facilitate client requirements meetings – both in person and/or remotely using current online presentation applications
- Stay current with client needs, competition, and industry trends
- Deliver sales and training presentations/proposals to prospective clients
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Develop and manage client & agency relationships
- Evaluate accounts
- Manage projects to make sure that they get completed in a timely manner
- Responsible for sales/marketing and advertising campaigns
- Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations
- Attend training courses, exhibitions, public engagements and trade shows
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Answering telephone calls
- Carry out administrative inductions with new members of staff to the team
- Carry out any other duties as may be required by the company from time to time
